What is Pickleball?
Pickleball is currently America's fastest growing sport, with nearly 50 million players nationwide (2024).
Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. Pickleball is played on a badminton sized court where two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, like a whiffle ball.
Next to that, pickleball offers a lot of fun and is a very social activity. In today's world, there are many local and national tournaments. Currently, there are 2 professional/amateur tours, which are called APP and PPA. The governing body is called USA Pickleball.
